In an effort to be transparent and continue to provide as safe of an experience and service as possible, we wanted to let you all know about a COVID exposure that we just learned about this morning, Monday, 11/23.
On Thursday, 11/19, a visitor doing business in the back-of-house (brewery production area) exposed several non-public-facing employees for a prolonged period of time. This visitor has since tested positive for COVID 19. Those employees who were exposed are currently getting tested and will not return to work until they are confirmed to be negative.
As far as the public is concerned, neither our taproom or beer garden were open to the public that day as we continued to work on our outdoor space improvement. Employees who were providing curbside service did NOT have prolonged exposure of any kind to the positive visitor.
Our entire front-of-house staff have nonetheless been notified and are monitoring themselves for symptoms as we await test results for those who were exposed.
Since we are closed for business on Mondays and Tuesdays, we will be cleaning and sanitizing all areas of exposure, which again were mainly in the back-of-house. As we await test results, we plan to open on Wednesday, 11/25, during our normal hours with employees who were not exposed to the visitor.
