Flood Waters
American Amber Ale
Named after one of our original homebrew recipes, Flood Waters calls back a time when our brewer, Eric, regularly took over the kitchen of his brother, Kevin, and sister-in-law, Stef. The first batch of original “Flood Waters” was fermented in a bucket in their basement, which flooded during a huge mid-fall rainstorm. While there was some damage done, the bucket of Flood Waters stood strong amidst the chaos.
Flood Waters stays true to the spirit of the original with a balance between a solid malt base and hops. Hop additions in both the kettle and dry hop of Columbus, Centennial, and Willamette lend this beer notes of citrus, earthiness, and floral notes intermixed with caramel sweetness from the malt bill.
