Our November edition of Arts & Drafts features local abstract artist Jane Jackson Art, a hand-made jewelry pop-up by Pamela Marck, food by our friends at ACE: A Culinary Experience, and LIVE LOCAL MUSIC by Shady Play. That's a whole lot going on for a Thursday night and a perfect way to kick-start your weekend a little early.

Jane Jackson is a self-taught artist based in the Chicago area. She has always had a passion for art and a love of the outdoors. Painting brings them together.

Inspired by the raw and powerful textures and saturated colors found in nature, Jane evokes the contrast of scenic land and sea scapes, and navigates the earth’s natural balance between light and dark that is reflected in our perceptions of the world.

Pam, the acting mother figure around Riverlands, creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind hand-made jewelry in her spare time. With the holidays coming up, her pop-up shop in the taproom is the perfect chance to get a jump on gifts.

Shady Play is a Pop Jazz Trio that specializes in vintage jazz and swing arrangements.They play a wide range of different venues and events including: speakeasies, festivals, corporate events, bars, and weddings. Their three part harmonies and punny demeanor will be sure to win the hearts of all in attendance. Established in early 2018 by Ryan Worthy (Guitar), Ryan Caldwell (Piano), and Zoe Cunningham (Violin).
